three o clock

holding a bouquet of lavender in one hand

a camera in the other . taking in the silence

drenched in northern light on a winter afternoon

that whispers spring promise

under golden

soft and bright appear together

beneath a gray angled rock wall . along side sparkling river

on the underside of bud and bloom . held moments of joy on the breeze

sun flower still

in a vintage pot . on the patio . a year dried

stilled by time and elements beauty remains

on any day

we are

open and closed

direct yet subtle

focus when blurred

upright while bowed

at a smooth wooden table as I ponder

the list filled with "should accomplish" and "must do"

while fresh blooms with leaves of purple wave outside the window

suddenly watering . sunshine . camera . move to the top of the must do list

this is called "Plum Delight" . blooms 3 times a year in my wild garden

this year

you strolled through the garden with me in early spring and autumn rains

we gazed upward under the same sky in moments of light and darkness

each of you filled my heart with the melody and harmony that is a full life

today brings completion of a very enjoyable project

it opened my eyes to the different tones of every day life
as 2011 arrives I wish you all a new year filled
with happy moments . special discoveries . love overflowing
many thanks for the support you show each time you visit this space
