in pursuit

I had one of those days this past weekend . so my camera and I took a walk



found abstract shelter under an oak . bare branches and all



was enchanted by three deep red dogwood leaves . still hanging on



feeling refreshed at home again . I curled up on the couch and found peace




in recycled text and smooth stone brought together in the late afternoon light

and fifty ...

so today is 49 and 50 . during the past year I missed a friday . or two

as 2011 simple bird simple word project is coming to a close soon

these song birds seemed just the ones to include as a pair

wishing you and yours a calm and bright holiday

the youngest is home already
my older daughter is driving in today
a comfy nest will once again be full of family

so from the space with few words . a few simple birds
I wish you peace . strength . quirky wings . soft snips of life
