This is really beautiful collection of lovely flowers of various shapes and colors. I don’t know which photo I would choose for the best; I like them all.

You know you're just torturing those of us in the north, right? It's 7 degrees this morning!

Beautiful blooms...I've never seen a fringe flower! :)

Oh, ELK, these are so very beautiful. Just what I needed to see today, now that we have a fresh layer of snow on the ground. Thank you for sharing them!

OH the quince!

such perfection of color and form.

this is certainly the flip side of the minus 3 degree wind chill we had this a.m...

thanks for the bloomin' blessing.

Elk, that does look a lot like the witchhazel pictures I took, but fringe flower and witchhazel are different plants.
We dont have that type of fringe flower here, must be too cold, nice images!

Jean was thinking the same thing when I saw your photos...they may be the same family?this is a pretty hardy bush that blooms a couple times a year.

Thank you all for your sweet comments...now my yard DOES looks winter weary ....lots of brown too ...leaves just coming out...these are just a few of the EARLY blooms. ELK
