I live in a 35 year old house that has issues....but don't most houses have a few? people too? Anyway, one of the more enjoyable features are the large windows looking out into the backyard. Southern exposure fills the family and dining room with light which we relish all year round.
In the dining room right by the smallish kitchen (one of the issues before mentioned) is our table that has featured many a meal, board game, life-changing discussions ,
morning coffee with newspaper...

The window next to said table is very large and fills the whole wall ... where I gaze at my
garden, have watched my daughters and
Sam swim in the pool, enjoyed sunrises over the tall oaks....I love it immensly and have chosen to embrace this spot in my home even though I would rather have a bigger kitchen.

the table has wood which has absorbed life; happiness, anger, daughters growing up, teardrops from my eyes as I pray for a
friend...and then tears of laughter with friends and family from all parts of life.
In the quiet moments of this new year as life sprouts from behind the glass, I decided to use this backdrop...the table by the window, for a year long journal of photographs, just a couple a week posted to a set....hope you might enjoy

UPDATE>>> I decided to post these pictures on a blog instead Table by a Window
