as I return to work today I carry in my heart
a backdrop of bright blue sky . branches bare . her big smile

we breath

shelter . span . single . growth . quiet . depth . color . intensity . melody . life . cracked . deep .

we're off to visit another college
excitement while surreal
a new season of life

garden grows

just inches away from a leaf filled birdbath

are lines of purple in vivid depth

spent blooms reaching to a breezy beat

among the red and gray ...and red

amazed by what is seen inches away in a garden after years of growth tended with love

we are off to visit a college
as my daughter will be making
that life choice in the next few months
but the garden will be here when we return

14 years of growing up together

bonded in brown

my thoughts drift to the music in my life,
how it flows through my veins each day...
for that I am truly grateful

i just about tripped over it!

In July I traveled to Synod YOUTH Workshop as a sponsor with teenagers from our church and felt the love and excitement in a way that they love to show it! The sunny heart on the bricks during my early morning walk (before teens awake!) confirmed the love that is all around us...may you see this on Love Thursday and each day.
