I embrace copper tones of life that is now

art and sun through the branches

bridges reaching the sky

morning shadows on a string of sage birds

stones that fit together under the rusted angles of autumn

among curved blooms . torn words . frayed wing . a cloth heart . tiny stitches

one wish remains . moments overflowing with your version of an artistic life

at times torn and frayed . often stitched and blooming . both still and active

the "stars going round in my head " in the text above define this season for me

no links this week as I post early . marveling at the beauty of your spaces

yet now gently taking an internet break . time away to touch the stars

if only just a moment . be well friends . blessings always

The first "Red or Gray Give Day" was such a blessing to me!
I have relished all of your visits, comments, as well as words of affirmation
I wish I could give a bird to you all .....

Blue Birds Beginning

Awhile ago I entered the Green Giveaway here and was humbled when "ELK" was chosen as a winner. The prize of a charming frame arrived wrapped in such a colorful box

all of the blues and greens that speak to me, along with a perky blue jay on the card inside.

It became delightfully apparent that this day was going to continue to be special beyond the framed photo wrapped in a wonderful box. As I opened the blinds in the family room later that afternoon he was lounging on the oak tree branch AND I actually was holding my camera, wonder of wonders I caught this!

Now, nearly a month later I am creating hand made birds for a fun project which will be the "Red or Gray Give Day" on Tuesday. Be happy wherever you may be perched!
