I'm convinced rescues are the best animals EVER! It's like they know you saved them and repay you on a daily basis with more love than we could imagine!
Ozzy and Ella will be joining Sam & Casey shortly!

Oh, what a wonderful idea! I have six (yes, SIX!) cats and a dog, which makes me officially a crazy cat lady. The first two cats I rescued from the pound, the other four have come to us over the years, showing up in our yard, the last two just this Spring. So far, we have made room for them all, although I think now we are at our limit. :)
As part of my "spreading some sunshine" post today, I posted a photo of the cat that came to us half-dead, injured, starving, yet so incredibly gentle. Now he is beautiful.

P.S. I love your photos, the belly-up kitty made me laugh!

Soooo sweet these two lovely friends of yours.

They're adorable and they match. The yawning kitty is classic. I'm heading out right now for the day, not sure I can participate...but too cute!

For some reason, I can't post from Wordpress to your and some other blogger sites the last couple days. Hope it corrects itself.

Hi Sam!!!! xo on your nose and a scritch to kitty's ears.
Margie wrote about her Charlie today.

I smiled at this, thinking redheads really do run in the family over at ELK's. haha.

What a sweet looking duo! Don't you just adore the unconditional love of a pet? We humans should take a lesson!

The springs of my heart just unwound as I wandered through your blog this afternoon. Restful. Refreshing. Real.

I find it hard to choose just a few words....often sprinkle them freely like seed I'm scattering, just hoping some will take root and grow.
I love the way you plant yours.
Hope you rub off on me:)

So glad to have found this loveliness.
