a pause . a breath

Love lemons. Love dogs. Look at how the camera peeks through the branches and leaves and finds the dog. Look at that lemon! Such joy!

Oh to live where lemon trees grow...and bloom...and ripen to beautiful yellow fruit.

So lovely.

Such a still, quiet, beautiful moment in your garden, Elk... That glimpse of Sam between the lemons tugs at my heart--what a cutie-pie he is. A lemon tree growing in one's own garden... I dream of such a thing in this cold climate! Your new banner is wonderful--so artful, so graceful... Happy Week ((HUGS))

a very lovely reflective moment.

(I am encouraged by the fruitfulness of your lemon tree in the pot too...one day mine will flourish. No lemons, but it is so much healthier this year!)

I've missed Sam! It's great to see him with his tennis ball! Wow, how cool to grow your own lemons. They are so expensive in the stores here.

We head to Texas in four weeks. Will I see a lemon tree then? Sam is beautiful gray hairs and all.

Isn't cute how even older dogs will love their ball like a puppy?
Lemon trees...how cool is that? (although, if you've ever watched the move "The Indian", you will cringe as to why lemons are yellow)

i love the new banner - it looks like the hands of people of different cultures reaching out to each other. and love this post - i have been trying to convince katie the yard needs a lemon tree, but to no avail. and sam. how wonderful to have such a friend as he no doubt is.

He's so sweet, thinking his own doggy thoughts, not knowing he's observed. I love goldens.
