Hi ELK - lovely photo. I have a similar one of a mango! Great minds think alike, I suppose!

Thanks for your kind words on my blog. Your support is appreciated very much.

I'm on the, "I wish I were closer to the weekend already" side! What's new?!? haha

I think I am right in the middle on that pear. ; )

I appreciate someone who is deep enough to find meaning in something as simple as a pear! I think I'm on the smoother side today...only because the day before yesterday i was evaluating scars. It's a trade-of.

Your words and picture remind me of these words by a wonderful Indian novelist. "When I stand before you at the end of the day, you shall see my scars and know that I had my wounds and also my healing"..(apologies to Rabindranath Tagore)

I think I'm a little of both today!! I love your thoughts on this and the ability to see both sides -- the dark and the light. Which is very much how life is.

ELK, thank you for leaving a comment on my blog tonight...I hope some of the things I have posted on my art blog and on my breast cancer blog will be helpful to you and to your friend Julie.

I hate that she is making this journey but I can tell you this -- she is among some very good company. We'd just like to shut the party down though!! It's time to find an end to breast cancer.

Julie is lucky and very blessed to have you in her life. I love the pink ribbon on the side bar! ♥
