from both the outside looking in and indoors gazing out
as well as what black and white always feels like

we drive past . me clicking way . each shot a blur . I smile at the metaphor
when life becomes a blurry roller coaster ride with twists and turns
it is reassuring to have a place to be still .. to slow down ..

it is one oclock
at a smooth wooden table as I ponder
the list filled with "should accomplish" and "must do"
while fresh blooms with leaves of purple wave outside the window
suddenly watering . sunshine . camera . move to the top of the must do list
this is called "Plum Delight" . blooms 3 times a year in my wild garden
words like trees
there are moments . words line up side by side . open . reaching together
often they drift quietly off to the side . gnarled in many directions
with almost three years in this space my words embrace both
swirling among the branches of life's season
