allow yourself

in this bright that is sun . even weeds teach me to sink low

they are strong when weakness prevails . twigs bend . do not break

a field full of swaying dancers creating a summer hum with me knee deep

in a place of no pressure . no concern . no should .. just being . in the light and song

I love weeds. So many of them really are so pretty. Queen Anne's lace is a favorite of mine!

I'd like to be in that place with you and the weeds.

I'm pursuing that place of no shoulds or coulds but just trying to be open to the natural flow and rhythm of life right now.

Thank you for this sacred pause...and the tiny heart of love in the center of the flower in photo number 3...such lovely, gentle words and soft light for contemplation and gratitude.

I too have an odd fondness for flowering weeds. When I was little, I would collect them and make bouquets, and was crushed when my mother didn't want weeds in the house. Now I photograph them for their rugged and unexpected beauty.
