simple bird . simple word a day early

this week I believe in a bit of black white and red

on an everyday table :: in a spring garden unexpected :: as paper is folded

I believe in sharing always . the simple stone and simple bird above will be given away

leave a comment to enter and I will draw one name for each next week

Only after the second reading did I realise these were a gift to us! Beautiful words and a lovely sentiment for an island needing so much love at the moment.

Your love poured out
in birds and stones
stirs fresh prayers
like strong winds
in my heart
...Lord, rebuild their foundations
and give them wings.
Strength and lift
to the Japanese people
(I do so find myself falling
in love with them)
Thanks for this beauty,
Jen

My little head sang, "A dream is a wish your heart makes..." while I was looking at that first picture. ♥ Love it!

Elaine, I love the poetry of this post, in word and image. And thank you so much for stepping up to contribute to the Crafting for Courage project. It was a great feeling to be a part of such a creative and giving group of crafters putting our hands to work for an important cause.

this stone!
every sacred inch.
i am stone stunned.
