garden grows

just inches away from a leaf filled birdbath

are lines of purple in vivid depth

spent blooms reaching to a breezy beat

amazed by what is seen inches away in a garden after years of growth tended with love

we are off to visit a college
as my daughter will be making
that life choice in the next few months
but the garden will be here when we return

First, I have to tell you that your new avatar is simply stunning. I love how clearly it shows us your beautiful face. And, oh... Your daughter! The first thing I thought when I saw her was, "NO FAIR!" That was in response to her hair, the color of which I've envied since second grade. My second thought was, "Lucky girl, she looks just like her Momma."

Clearly the roots that you have laid down for her will allow her to flourish as brilliantly as your garden has.

Happy, and safe, travels of discovery for you both.

the best of luck to you both...having a senior I know where you're at with all of this.....

I think my son plans on staying in town and attending the technical school for a bit before he can even begin to fathom the idea of being out on his own... somewhere "away"....
