It's lovely to still see spring colours at this time of year when I'm seeing red/orange/yellow and crumpled!! :)

yes fall in north texas is a bit different ~ the leaves have not really begun to even turn yet...

Great shots, especially the second one. All of our wildflowers are trying to withstand the frosty mornings, but the colors are starting to fade.......thanks for sharing your beauties!

It seems late - they haven't changed in Atlanta yet either - but maybe I'm just more aware because everyone else seems to be posting all the reds and oranges.

lucky you! still with flowers to photograph. we are getting ready for the big pull, as in ripping out the garden for winter. cutting back perennials, pulling the annuals. i, unlike you, do not like to garden. i just like to look at them enough that i do it anyway. have a great day.
