we are having 24 people but luckily we are holding the celebration at our new garden center, plenty of chairs and bathrooms!

This is like my house. I am such a chair person...I love the older ones. My husband has told me...no more chairs, please!

Very cool post! I think the people that fill the chairs are the most important too.

With so many different types of chairs, I'd be interested to see who chooses a particular type of chair to sit in at your feast and why...

what a grand feast you will have I'm sure. The best part is having family and friends to fill ALL the chairs.
i love mismatched chairs - plates and everything - makes it more interesting.

a little surprise link for us. thank you.

I love all your chairs! I imagine you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones gathered round.

Such lovely photos this week - I'm having a hard time keeping up with my online world, so forgive me for not stopping by more often!

The blue chair image is really neat.

i love mismatched chairs around a table. so much more whimsical and interesting than a matching set.

your encouragement has lifted my spirits today~ I was a little concerned about the chair situation but as always my sweet blog friends have made me see that variety is OK!! glad for that...my dishes are the same way...a little of this a little of that...
you are all so wonderful!

A table surrounded by mismatched chairs somehow sounds appropriate for a Thanksgiving get together. Reminds me of the people in my family...all coming together but all totally different and unique...Happy Thanksgiving!

You have super fantastic chairs! How boring if they all matched! I think you'll have a wonderful holiday!

BTW - I was tagged on my blog and now have tagged you. Play along if you wish. ;o)

great collection of chairs, I love that they are all different.

I wonder if you could match the chairs to your guests personalities.

See 'Soul Aperture'
she has an extra one.

I think chairs are more interesting when they don't match. Mine are uninteresting (they match). Ha! I love your images and you gave me an idea for my wicker chair that my cat loved to use as a scratching post! =)

I love chairs--I have a fetish. I think they are so fun to decorate with--that and dressers. =) I was looking at a blog today and she made the cutest chair. I went and found the link for you if you are interested.

I really love your creative way of showing us your Thanksgiving. I also love your last sentence. It was my first thought when I saw them, "OH! How lucky she is to have a house full." I am really glad you think so, too.

One can never have enough chairs, I used to collect miniature ones, now it's big ones ;)

great photos of chairs but I especially love that you're grateful for people to fill the chairs. Personally I don't even like matching chairs -- I think there is way more character in chairs that have their own individuality and character -- much like the people who sit in them
