thoughts on seeing

transparent

it is a gift to be transparent at times . in it is seen softness and grace

also

look beyond the holes of today . focus on the angle and strength of a limb

holes

such simple beauty in both the words you create and the art you share

Those leaves are whisper thin and almost soft looking, the faded rose color is like a song for the end of season soon... I love this, Elk :o) Happy Week ((HUGS))

I can feel the chill in the air ... and the delights of autumn on their way.

I love the way you're gifted
to hear and see
the wisdom in nature
and then translate
and share
with other open hearts.
It's such a beautiful thing.
thank you for your loveliness:)

So lovely. I just recently noticed a tree with a hole right through the leaves from one side to the other, and it struck me similarly. (And inspired a painting.)

Oh, so beautiful!

Sometimes looking beyond today's holes is so hard, Elaine. We get so deep into the holes that we forget there is anything beyond them.

I wish to focus on the strength and beauty. Thank you.

Elk,
The beauty of light, delicate color, and transparent leaves in the first shot is just stunning!
As for focus, I'm finding that I need to focus more on my studio work and thus, will probably only visit you once per week. I hope you aren't offended and know that I always enjoy your beautiful photos and cut-to-the-core-of-things words.
Take care,
Anna

I love your essay on transparency. It's hard to let people see right through you.

I love when the bougainvillea petals get like that, transparent and crinkly.

I love the first photo of the bougainvillea. And, the stones with a thought worth remembering are priceless. Mickie :)
