thirty one

a collection of wispy brown in late light

lightweight cardboard kept . always for a simple bird

a rich plaid raveling wing . sienna smooth twig

and grace . always and forever collect some . it holds me

tucked close to the heart . all wound and wrapped with silver wire

as I continue to collect year long links . a special way to end each week

a soft journal like no other

natural moments captured with film

collecting snips in bloom with words to match

Gathering grace... I love that, Elk. I think that should be a highlight of each day, to gather some grace. That frayed wing tugs at my heartstrings so much... And lovely links this week--thank you. :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

good morning ELK
catching up on your posts
after coming home from beach
love love love this bird
grace is a word forever in my heart

i also have 2 bird baths
and try to keep them filled
in this grilling heat
we can come in to the AC
but our little friends can't
and you're right about
being entertained as you
stand at the kitchen sink...

thank you for your lovely words
this morning...it guides me.

grace looks lovely
dressed in plaid,
by you, in bird.
songs to you,
from tree tops.

Plaids remind me of fall and back-to-school. Looks like your birds are getting in the autumn mode (wishful thinking here).
