curves of metal and stone

we drive past . me clicking way . each shot a blur . I smile at the metaphor

when life becomes a blurry roller coaster ride with twists and turns
it is reassuring to have a place to be still .. to slow down ..
small stones . paper . words from table to shop

your gentle word-stones carry peace as do your little birds ...

Hey Elk, thanks for these wise words and fun shots! But I really spent some time gazing at your header photo, I needed this sweet, calm touch of color.

Elk, wonderful graphic design in these images! Life will be a blur for me this week, as I travel.

so true - and i am feeling that track these days but i do have a lovely stone wrapped in paper with a powerful word nestled onto the surface from you, my friend, that points me back to joy every time i pass by it. grazie molto, mi amica.

oh I absolutely LOVE these shots.
They speak to a deep joy in me
for rollercoasters.
(i actually adore them)
We live 5 minutes from a wonderful
WONDERFUL roller coaster
and last year I was able to see
it only from the gates of the park.
To an addict, this was raw
and grueling.
Your bright photos stirred a longing hope inside of me today.
Stillness inside the longing.
What a beautiful ache.
You just never know how much
your art is going to heal and stir hearts when you put it out there:)
Big thanks,
-Jennifer

my quiet place is always home...being out often gets me all tangled up and walking in the door of my house is such a soft place to land.....

Great shots of the roller coaster to go with your lovely words. The pink plum flowers in one of the previous posts are such beautiful, fragile looking flowers--lovely. Mickie :)

The slight blur to these photos is great - adds a bit of movement and I always feel a little tipsy when I look at rollercoasters (I'm a chicken!)
