OOO

grocery shopping ranks low on the list
of my most fulfilling activities

as a result ... putting them away
often becomes a creative photo diversion

resulting in the days chili ingredients
becoming a natural holiday decoration for the afternoon

you may remember the apples awhile back....

Clever. I like to turn the fruit into a decorator item too.

Oh, but I LOVE grocery shopping...yes, I really do! I love to cook, so getting in the groceries is creative as I love seeing all the fruits and veggies, neatly stacked cans, rows of goodness waiting to be turned into WOW for the mouth, the body, the spirit. But I also like using the shopping for decorative and creative purposes... like you're so cleverly done here, Elk--very fun post! :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))

thank you for this. grocery shopping can reduce me to tears - if i like something, it will soon be discontinued by the store near my house. i must drive across town for everything, and in this busy season, that means in the direction of and past the only mall. which means i spend december truly annoyed about grocery shopping. lol! thank you!!

I don't like going grocery shopping, but I love the feeling of having all kinds of ingredients to make my heart's desire for dinner each night! Love your creativity!

I like to go grocery shopping:) I live in a smallish town and it always ends up being a social event...running into people to chat with and catch up with...meeting new people to discuss food with...laughing with the young people at the cash registers. In fact this morning I was even thinking it might be a fun place to work:)

Still, taking photos of the food I take home is often the best part of the trip...your tomatos look festive!

It seems like nature's decorations are often the most photogenic...fruits, vegetables, eggs. Nature's ornaments.

I adore grocery shopping. It is one of my most favorite things to do (which is probably why I am at the grocery store about 3-5 times a week ;)

But I still love your diversion. :)
