lightly

the quiet pays a visit once more . pausing
while shadows stair step across a light filled studio
when my words hide or seem hollow ... I stitch them together
with threads of ivory and blue . resting upon wood and cloth . heart and soul

I've wondered..... have you always created?
Is this something you've come into lately or is your background in art?
curious.

it always seems so simple when i read your words, you make it sound easy, but the simplicity is deceptive - your words stay with me and your images also. i don't know how you do it, but i am so glad you do.

I love how the shadows in the first image mimick the string in the second...beautiful eye:)

and I will mimick Debi in saying your simplicity is deceptive!

Hi ya Elk,

These are beauties too just like my birdies. Love the light reflections of the shutters.

pondering the concept of 'stitching words together' in response to their perceived emptiness. It's an intriguing thought.

Yay! I just ordered a couple little pieces. The one I had my eye on was gone! You are just too popular. But...I consoled myself with two pieces equally as whimsical and beautiful.

Love you. Happy Thanksgiving, ELK.
