isn't that a sweet surprise? we were in the mountains, where it is almost winter, and i spied a pretty white flower blooming.
lovely! seems a bit like fall up here right now--still clinging to a bit of summer.
what intricate beauty ...
Pretty flowers, I don't believe I have ever seen these before.
We're pondering fall here, too, and that's probably as close as we will get. Those flowers actually look a little familiar to me but I don't know what they are either.
a fall blossoming surprise! i've never seen these. they look like little stars.
Ah I see your surprise flower ... what an attractive plant.
Sooo lovely... It has an almost lace-like quality! Do you know the name of this flower, Elk? I can't quite place it at a glance... I love white flowers--they just "pop" in the garden, and hence all the other colors around them. Happy Day, my friend :o) ((HUGS))
White blooms...sigh! I so want an all white garden! xoxoox hugs my friend
milkweed hangs on for sustenance until the last Monarchs have flown south
i wish i knew how to get a picture as sharp as that! milkweed or frostweed (great names)
I love white flowers. T Hey look so crisp. I always wanted a moon garden - all white flowers. It is supposed to look lovely in the moon light.
Well your surprise gift in white made me smile!!!
beautiful delicacy - i've never seen them before the seed pods
These are so milky white I love that their name reflects this. I am surprised at the flowers I see hanging on around here, the cold weather has not frighten them away yet.
Mom, we have those flowers -all- over Mo. I've been watching Monarchs land on them for a few weeks now, wondering whether they were Milkweed or not. How fun to find them here on your page as well. : )
