preparing to take flight . . . at this time of year, i feel a bit jealous of them, a bit melancholy at the knowledge they will be gone soon. but.. something to look forward to in the spring.

Your first photo is especially interesting and thought provoking. You've captured something quite extraordinary...one single bird on a wire, alongside a separate wire full of many, many birds. Is there a message within this photo...hmm, I wonder?
