papers . photos . few words

tallhole.jpg

some moments I lift the camera to embrace the world around me
and at times sit quietly with recycled paper and fabric bits
cutting curves . straight lines . making melodies

as the summer breezes gently arrive
and the activity of school fades away for a season

I feel the desire to simplify further by merging two blogs
with the hope that the paper art intertwined with photos in this space
will offer you both wings to fly and a place to rest

i thought of you yesterday when i found bundles and bundles of vintage sheet music (though it was pricey to me at $20 per bundle). i thought of your beautiful artwork and what you could do to it.

I don't think I've ever seen your other blog, so this will be a treat for me! Keeping up with just one blog of my own is plenty for me!

I very much like the un-constructed bird followed by the constructed one with red thread.

The top shot is wonderfully confusing. But I prefer 'circulate in B&W.'

Simplifying is good. It will be a pleasure and joy to see both your photography and your paper art in this space!

I was just going to say "simplifying is good," then read the comment before me. Okay, never mind :) I, too, would find it very hard to have 3 blogs like you do (that I know of). I think it's a fab idea to consolidate. Such lovely images. I like the Stonehenge-ish one, especially. Hope you have a fun, relaxing, creative summer.
