out of time
out of step .. out of breath
feeling part overwhelmed .. part grateful
loving final orchestra concert .. final awards .. senior prom
wishing two daughters "Happy Graduation" in the span of 3 weeks
counting the days until my teaching job is done for the year .. 15 days to go
inheriting a cat for the summer & celebrating a wedding anniversary along the way

although the wings appear a bit crooked and unraveled
I AM perched in the curve of the branch feeling support and comfort
thank you blog friends for your encouraging visits to this space always

if you wish, take a moment to look at the CARDS/ART section in my ETSY shop

You are full of words! And I love them, you busy, busy, busy bee. I love your cradled bird and the wonderful I Am necklace.

Plus I want to say thank you to YOU for being there for me these last few weeks. I think I am back and I will be around to see you more. And so glad!

Congratulations on your daughters! What do you teach? Yes, we're all counting the days at school, too.

Love those sweet little cards, especially modern bird in b&w.

Happy belated anniversary! I am so pleased to share that special date with you! Tell me...was it windy on your wedding day? I just love it when the wind blows on May 15.

You have been a busy lady. Your wings may be a little crooked and unraveled from boosting those young'uns out of the nest! Bless you...two in 3 weeks!

I shall visit etsy now. I, of course, would love to win, inherit, or just gaze upon anything you create!

elk,
funny i just did a painting with graduation as the initial thought behind it, it really made me think of home and how we can carry it with us and the transitions we face as families.
encouraging thoughts for you

The end of the school year sounds so crazy. (More so for the teachers, I imagine.) And two graduations!

I wish you ease and rest and joy for the remainder of your school year. It's nice that you feel supported through all of this.
