thin paper recalls the whisper at each turn

elusive thought flys by way of scissor and thread

The little bird looks like part of the book. I notice it is about writing. There is another excellent book on writing called "Bird by Bird" by Ann Lamott.

"when the stitches catch the cloth". I liked that.

Cool how you were moved to weave image and word too.

Hi Elk,
I'm coming over from HCB. I love your words here...and that bird, so sweet. I love all things birds! I just checked out your shop on Etsy -- love all the bird art!

So a few questions: I recognize the writer's name--Julia Cameron--I still treasure my copy of The Artist's Way. Does ELK stand for Julia Cameron? Are you one and the same?

Stopping by from HCB, beautiful.

I am always taken when one can capture such depth in so few words. (A gift I clearly have to to hold.)

I love your birds. Julia Cameron is an interesting person. I read her autobiography, Floor Sample. She has led a strange and interesting life.
