Wow, spring is on it's way for you. Japonica is one of the first flowers to break out in my garden at springtime too.

Elk - those were my very thoughts this morning as had the pleasure of stretching this morning in front of some of these exact, splendiferous pink buds! How wonderful that you have the same in your garden!!

Goregous buds. I look forward to our changing season - I can feel the cool Autumn air joining us - it is a relief after our hot summer. Have a good weekend.

:) Us too. Tulip trees and pear trees are blooming before my very eyes. The Azalea Trail, of which I live smack dab 2 houses away from the main tourist spot is a couple of weekends away. By then we will be covered in flowers (and tourists). Spring. At last. Wisteria, camellias, cherry laurels, blossoms, blossoms everywhere. I cannot wait.
