life feels like a photo at times
awash in familiar monochromatic
while pushing boundaries . seeking clarity

crescendo

life plays like a full symphony too
including a few missed notes
between the melody
and harmony

as seen on Photo Play ....

I love music analogies. "All art constantly aspires to the condition of music." Walter Pater.

i feel the same about sheet music. it makes my heart lift
to anticipate a new sound like the page of a new book.

your photo and riff is so poignant.

i see your comments on joan elizabeth's blog.

I love seeing sheets of music. That is life really, between the melody and the harmony.

I have seen you around the HCB community and decided to stop by for a peek through the bushes. Instead of looking and leaving, I decided to linger a bit and say HOWDY. It is good to meet you. Your photos have me caught. And your poem is word beauty too.

May God bless you this day!

I love what you did with the monochromatic...and the symphony with missed notes. But we stay on stage and keep going!

Love the old-time feel of the photographer as well as the romance of the sheet music.

The black, white, grays, the music of life—including the missed notes—this is what it's all about.
