Love the meataphor. And don't forget - leaves change colors...they are constantly re-creating themselves!!!

I absolutely love photographs of leaves. I find one that speaks to me and take about a billion pictures of it. Beautiful words to accompany. :)

Brown and grey-blue is just about my favourite colour combination. Add the texture of life and weather and you've got something very special ... this one just delights me ... will stay in my mind for quite a while.

This metaphor--visually and in word strikes a chord, Elk... oh, yes! Happy Week, my friend :o) ((HUGS))

sometimes torn....often blowing around trying to find the right place to land....getting stepped on and crunched into tiny pieces....or being raked into a large pile to be jumped in by the love of children....

Love the texture in these images - of the leaf but also the timber.

I so relate to this... leaflife is a great metaphor for reallife! And as always, you've captured it so perfectly in word and image :)

the leaves I saw on my walk today were rather soggy and decomposing.
But I'd like to think that life comes from death .

wonderful color and texture in your photos. love old dried up leaves. they have the most character.

Memories Of Mine said...

The old leave has far more character than the young one. It has lived and has stories to tell.
