a table ...a year...

the table by a window

daily life swirls all around me
this table means refuge with moments
of quiet and warmth mixed with serious and silly
it is an everyday place filled with memories..smiles...tears
as the year and this project comes to a close
my wish for you is comfort
and special feelings
around your
table in
2010

The table is the heart of the home...where we gather, do homework, eat meals, paint, color, pay bills, send cards, make paper snowflakes ...live...

Wishing you a wonderful 2010. And thank you again for the beautiful card.

Elk, I have so enjoyed visiting your table and been inspired by the creativity that happens there. Thank you for your kind wishes for our tables in 2010 ... may there be many more years of memories, smiles and occasional tears at your table.

I love the scrabble picture. It is hard to believe that your table journey has come to an end. As the time has passed I feel like I have now sat at your table many times ans shared many moments of your.

I discovered your blog only a few post before you undertook this project so it also makes a year of blogging with you and I have enjoyed every minute. Thank you and may your creativity flow freely in 2010.

what a wonderful project this has been -- a record of so many moments in life that tend to pass by unnoticed and unheralded. And yet they make up the very fabric of our lives... Beautiful!

Wishing you a wonderful new year! :)

Love the project. The table -- well, you make me think about all the projects and meals and conversations and sitting and thinking and writing and cups of chai and glasses of wine that happen around the one in the center of my house. That's a good thing.

Omigosh, the view you have out your window is ABSOLUTELY DIVINE! I enjoyed reading about your project... somehow I missed this project - I know I've stopped by the table blog before, but I didn't have that one added to my reader (like I have this one and your art one)... So I wasn't following it :( Do you have plans for a photo project for this next year?

Thanks for the inspiration on the project for the new year!

I happy clicked my way over here and find so many of my favorite people here, how have I not clicked before? Now I find myself curious and will need to go and check out your project. So true about the gatherings around the table...

I am especially entranced by the photo of your dog... her face is so similar to that of my own girl who passed a bit ago.

Blessings to you!
