belonging

a random vine appeared

in my sunny garden
it grew
it bloomed
I smiled
at nature's reminder
that everything belongs somewhere

the vine i SO pretty-looks like a squash of some kind, or a melon maybe?
and i LOVE the banner... the colors and the photos themselves are beautiful! :)

beautiful lucky little guy to find his way there

It certainly looks like a melon, just keep an eye on where those flowers are and see what comes along. The seeds you dropped into your compost heap will be the best clue as to what you have in store. What fun.

Squash was my first thought. The comment about the compost heap really makes sense. And, oh how true; we all do belong somewhere.

Oh yea some do belong in the sky and others belong at the bottom to hold it all up. Wonderful way of seeing things. Every thing has it's place and meaning.

Perfect vine! I find myself so often taking pictures of the pretty weeds and vines that find themselves in my garden more than the flowers I planted.

You mean you didn't plant this? Hope you get some great squash of some type from it! It sure looks healthy...

I have a vine with blue flowers that yearly appears winding it's way through the tons of monkey grass in the yard - I think it's possibly morning glories coming back, but am unsure. It makes me SO happy. Everything DOES belong somewhere!

I've viewed and read this post twice. I'd like to believe it's true. The last image is particularly striking.
