random sight

a piece from a friend
is propped up

against the hearth
waiting for the sun
to play games
each evening
it is an art show
of the best kind
shadow

yes
I am the crazy redhead
you see with a camera
AND a guitar by the pool
neither have gone in
yet

edge

nature's summer standout
grown everywhere
with strength and raw beauty
a poet in the garden
from beginning to end
loves me not

brown cone at my feet created by
the same Maker
who fills the sky with light
cone

a simple quiet table

in the shadow of a morning
offering a cup of friendship
wherever you may live

These are simply beautiful. I love the sun shinning through the pine cone.

and as I drink my coffee, I feel blessed to have such a table to click my fingers to , strumming life with your art, your spirit. I looked around a bit, stalling before a day of chores, and I am filled with colour.
Thank you.

I love to stop by each day and enjoy a cup of friendship with you! You always inspire me.

Your guitar hanging over the pool brings out the mom voice in me saying, "Be careful, don't drop it!" heehee

Beautiful and powerful images. I really thought the guitar was looking up to the sky. It's just the sky reflected in the water. Cool!

I would love to share a cuppa on your lovely table, but please don't drop the guitar!!
Yes, I changed my layout, you're not going crazy. I wanted a change but didn't have time for anything fancy.

All these photos are unique and lovely but I especially like the guitar and pool photo! Also like the lens flare on the pine cone.

For a second I thought the guitar was in the pool and that you had totally lost the plot "How could she do this to her guitar" Was what I was thinking.

I'm glad to hear there have been no casualties lost to the pool.

Your house looks like a heaven in the the hot summer months.

I blogged about lens flare today and linked to this post of yours. I actually tried to link to the pine cone photo but Flickr wouldn't let me so I linked to the post instead. Hope you don't mind.
