Wonderful photos, ELK. Your table is so much cleaner than mine, even with your stack of neatly folded clothes. Mine is covered in dust! I appreciate my blogging buddies, too. My visits have been few and far between lately and I'm playing catch up right now.

Hi ELK - just loved the laughing shot - isn't that the best laughter of all when it is shared with the ones we love :)

I love the perspective in so many of your photographs. Yesterday I did some laundry and thought about washing my quilt, hanging it on the line and maybe getting a picture. I see great minds think alike!

your table by the window looked exactly like my table by the window did yesterday. Even half a world away some things never change.

Did you get my ATC cards yet?

love all the shots and what you said about keeping it real. it's perfect. the laughter shot is my favorite just because it captures such a moment of joy but, it's life always made up of times of folding clothes and punctuated by the laughter? great thoughts.

You blow me away! I count on coming here everyday, Elk! That picture of laughing...so genuine and real. Words and photos are always a gift!

Love the laughing shot, but my favorite is the low light, branch and pitcher. The soft dove colors, so barely saturated, the soft curves and sharp lines. Wow!

Words+images=rich communication! I often wonder how I'd be able to think if I was missing one or the other, because together they seem the ultimate language to me. I don't know if that makes sense. Love this post though! And your bright and pretty banner :)

Oh, do tell me where that wonderful building is in the last image.

I like your new header! Very pretty. And your post is great. I like the "pitcher" of your pitcher, too (I know, how corny)--but I love pitchers, also. Your table by the window project is very interesting.

What a wonderful post .... almost like having a real conversation with someone and getting all caught up on things :)

I love the blurred laughter ... I don't delete the blurred ones of my kids either ..... they're in a perpetual state of blur anyway :)
