This is so, so cute! I'll have to resurrect an oldie of Leo since he got half of his face ripped off in a cat fight :( Not too photogenic at the moment.

Oh, Sam is such a sweetie! No one could resist those eyes!

wow..they really own our hearts, don't they ?

Do they teach that "I'm not interested in that. Really, I'm not." look in puppy school? Because both of mine do the same thing. Precious boy!

Awe, Sam really wanted that apple.

I hope you gave him a dog biscuit. I think puppy eyes are the reason my dog is over weight, that and the fact the kids just love giving her food they shouldn't be.

charley is standing on the ceiling as we speak. she has been over ten days without a real walk. we sneak out around ten each night and do a quick once around the block but she is used to a good hour or more off leash each day. the coughing has stopped and the quarantine is up in two more days. look at that sam!! so cute.

Those eyes speak so many words don't they! Always amazes me how much a dog can say with a waggle of his eyebrows!

My Big Red Fred loves apples, too. My little Lola wants nothing to do with them. She's a carb only kinda girl. Got any pizza?

I did not know that dogs eat apples. It does look tasty.

Such a beautiful dog! :)

So sweet! Why no apple?

Sweet pup! I think Labrador and golden retrievers are the happiest, most content-looking dogs out there. Yours certainly looks very content with or without his apple. :)

thanks for your sweet comments...Sam thinks that apples are like balls to be played with..I usually let him play and nibble a little but it turns into a mess and big chunks for old dog does not mix well..then out come the dog biscuits! he is a special part of our family and keeps us smiling

Dang, I can't believe I missed the pet parade! Sam is so adorable, with those big puppy dog eyes. I didn't realize dogs like apples - might have to try that with my two.

Some dogs are so dignified in their shenanigans ;)

My dog also enjoys apples, she plays with it as "ball" while eating bites, it gets messy. : ) what would we do with out all that mischief!
