Hi Elk, I wonder were on earth did they find that red hair? My dad (and me as you already knew) is redheaded (accually now he's white) too and he use to say, there's no way you can make an end of this weed in our genes. About my freckles he would say: Honey those are just the rusty ends of your steel nerves. ;-) You've got great kids.

i love the earring shots! now i have to post a shot i took about a month ago. it's of my best friend wearing the earrings i gave her, and the sun is glistening through them. it turned out so neat, and i almost forgot to post it! thanks for the reminder.

as always, a creative and sweet post from you, ELK.

Beautiful young ladies.

I better get my daughter out on the steps for a photo so that I can feel this joy years from now.

Wonderful feeling of closeness and sisterhood you've captured here.

It's bittersweet, isn't it? You have such gorgeous girls.

Ah yes we share their senior year together as they share life as friends. Funny how life brought us the extra blessings of friendship as we watched our girls take their first steps to independence in college. Life is rich Elk and nothing says it more than the two beaming back at you in the photo. We are rich together even if distance seperates us.
