Looks like a beautiful structure with some extremely nice landscaping. Very nice.

Fantastic captures, Elk. I'm kind of surprised that security didn't confiscate your camera or make you put it away or delete images. Cool!

I have neve seen jury duty look so good.

Normally I would consider dury duty a pain and not a photo opportunity. When my name is called I will be grabbing my camera.

This was the area where I ate my lunch across from the courthouse so it was not a security issue

I'm incredibly inspired by you.

Great photo story. So calm and peaceful...for jury duty. I am glad you showed a positive side to it.

Like Toni, I was a little concerned about your camera and security. But...ah yes, lunch break. A very productive, but beautiful, way to spend lunch.

Nice perspective and commentary on jury duty.

I've never participated in jury duty but if and whenever I'm called upon to do so, I will remember to take my camera... Calmness is what I long for... Nice photos!

beautiful, beautiful shots - I always love your point of view

I love the way you've cropped that second shot--gorgeous! I wish the court that I regularly practice in looked like this. Unfortunately, it's kind of an 80's monstrosity. :(

such beautiful shots! your courthouse looks like it is beautifully designed and landscaped, and you have really enhanced both with the composition and cropping in your photos. :)

Those strange little chores and interruptions have hidden surprises in them don't they? Wonderful.

Mom, the way that the pine needles grow up contrasts so interestingly with the water falling down. The straight lines reaching up and the abstract, blurry splashing down really interests me.
