I was thrown by the red leaves at first as it is spring in your neck of the woods.

I then it hit me Japanese Maple. Beautiful Tree.

oh, how I love me a japanese maple....
the most gorgeous ones we had were in our yard in indiana...
here in wisconsin I don't have one...is it too cold here for them ?

i love this tree. so funny, i was going to post a photo yesterday that is so similar. i love the the japanese maple leaves in the spring. there's such a variety of color in them especially when the sun shines through.
I don't know if you remember Ts Jeep color (from a post long ago), but it was my car first and if asked to describe the color... it's the green of a new spring leaf from a japanese maple when the sun is shining through. isn't that crazy? but that's the color.
